EAMS

is an Embedded Angle Measurement System (EAMS)
working with a sensor inside the K80®*. The system
measures the steering angle between tractor and
trailor.
SCHARMÜLLER LENKKUGEL K80®* transfers the
coupling system to an intelligent connection between
tractor and trailor.

  • no K50, K60 or other steering assembly necessary

  • increased pivoting angle

  • precise angle measurement due to sensor
    resolution as analog or CAN-Bus signal

  • best protection against external environmental
    influences

  • Plug & Play - as soon as the ball coupling is coupled
    to the K80®* ball, the system is activated

  • Fleet suitability
